Remote learning extended in Abu Dhabi

The new measure comes into effect on 17 January.

Students in Abu Dhabi will spend further week in remote learning it has been announced.

The decision taken by the Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee will see remote learning extended to from Monday 17 January 2022.

The measure which applies to all public and private schools in the emirate as well as universities, colleges and training institutes, is to enable all educational facilities to be fully prepared for a safe return for students.

 

 

Remote learning came into effect from the first day of second school term for two weeks.

Ongoing PCR testing campaigns have increased for education sector personnel.

Parents, academic and administrative staff have been urged to receive their booster doses as the emirate looks to limit the spread of the Omicron variant of COVID-19.
