And there’s a lot more to look forward to!
The UAE has been making some out-of-the-world strides in recent times. Emirati astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi has barely landed home from making history, and the country’s already onto its next phase.

The UAE has set its sights on establishing itself as a major player in shaping the future of space exploration, elevating the country in the global space industry.

The biggest highlight of them all being that Mohammed Al Mulla and Nora Al Matroushi are all set to embark on trailblazing space missions by 2024. That’s right, by next year, the UAE will have its first female astronaut in space.
Furthermore, the following year will also see the launch of MBZ-Sat, the Arab world’s most advanced satellite to date.
While the Rashid Rover might have failed to make it to the moon last time, the second version of the project will continue.
Clearly the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre has a lot going for it!
