You can now fly to Egypt from Al Ain

Egypt is not currently on Abu Dhabi’s green list.

Summer’s here and the world’s destinations beckons – well almost!

And if you live in Abu Dhabi, or more precise, Al Ain, you can now fly to Egypt on Nile Air’s twice weekly flights from Al Ain Airport (AAN)

Flights from Al Ain to Cairo took off on 12 July from AAN, which is operated by Abu Dhabi Airports.

The UAE press reported that the new flights come as part of the expansion of Al Ain International Airport and the introduction of new routes.

Flights will depart from Cairo International Airport on Mondays and Fridays at 3.40pm local time and land in Al Ain at 9.15pm.

Return flights will depart from Al Ain at 10.15pm local time and land the following day at 12.05am.

Egypt is not currently on Abu Dhabi’s green list.
