Opening date announced for WB Hotel Abu Dhabi

Pencil 11 November into the diaries as the planet’s first Warner Bros’ hotel will throwing open its doors in Abu Dhabi and welcoming in guests.

Operated by Hilton under the Curio Collection brand, The WB Abu Dhabi will be based next door to Warner Bros. World™ Abu Dhabi and will have 257 themed rooms. 

Those checking in can expect to be welcomed by digital screens spanning the height of the eight-storey building, playing original content created for the hotel and as well as a Friends fountain inspired by the hugely popular sitcom.

Walls will be adorned with artwork, props and costumes from the production company’s portfolio and visitors should keep their eyes peeled for some of Warner Bros’ must beloved characters like Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck who will be wandering around the hotel. 

The hotel will also contain five restaurants including Sidekicks, The Director’s Club and The Overlook; a lounge replete with an infinity pool and that offers 360-degree vistas of Yas Island.

Speaking on the announcement, president of WarnerMedia Global Brands and Experiences Pam Lifford said the opening of The WB Hotel was a moment the team have dream of.

She said: “The Warner Bros Themed Entertainment team and our incredible partners at Miral and Hilton, designed this with fans in mind and have curated an outstanding hospitality experience that gives guests from around the world a unique way to further connect with the iconic Warner Bros brands, franchises and characters they love.”
