Dubai Parks and Resorts have designed a range of educational school programs that takes learning to the next level and brings education to life beyond the classroom.
The educational school programs at Dubai Parks and Resorts range from high-paced dance classes at Bollywood Parks, to learning about the fascinating world of movies at Motiongate to playful creative learning at Legoland.
Some of the great things on offer to schools groups in the UAE are:
Amazing Machines and Lego Mindstorm Space Challenge are great practical uses of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) curriculum that 8-12 years of ages can participate in at Legoland. Students learn how simple machines work and robotics work. They also learn skills in measurement, precision & modelling and creative problem-solving skills.
WeDo 2.0 for the 6-8 aged student involves witnessing robots come to life as they create their own interactive model. They work in groups collaborating with other children while learning to work together for a common outcome.
For the 5-6-year-old children, Story Starter helps their creativity and imagination whilst boosting their speaking and listening skills as they build stories with Lego bricks and Minifigures. And for the really little kids, there are the Little Explorer mornings to help their creativity and Fine Motor Skills as they enjoy hands-on building activities with Lego Duplo.
For the more energetic – embark on an exciting scavenger hunt around Motiongate or Bollywood Park. Students are divided into teams and have to answer a series of related questions to win the grand prize. For children 6 years and up this activity is perfect for problem solving skills, communication and teamwork skills, as well as innovation and leadership.
Students in the creative arts aren’t left out with dance classes, art and design, film production and theatre classes. Students get first-hand skills in stage direction, green screen technology, stage and sound design and history lessons on how film and production have changed over the years. What a great experience to use the amazing facilities at Dubai Parks and Resorts.
