No more costly sick days for your pets

Only two minutes to purchase policy.

A doting dog or a cute kitten means so much to everyone in the family and should they have a mishap, we only want the best medical treatment.

However, the Middle East can be expensive for pet owners, that is until now.

Yallacompare has today (6 December) launched a new pet insurance product which alleviates much of the financial burden should your pet need to pay the vet a visit.

Compliant with Sharia Law, the new pet insurance policy will see pet owners pay only 20 per cent of the final medical bill should there be an unfortunate emergency.

The pet insurance sees direct billing at a network of 10 vets across the UAE with 20 per cent co-payment, as well as the option to claim back costs at other vets.

Speaking on the announcement, Head of Strategy at yallacompare, Luke Craven, said it has been a goal of the company to offer a policy to provide protection for pets.

He said: “A large number of us at yallacompare are pet owners and we’ve all been looking for a product like this for years.

“We know how costly it can be to keep our furry friends in good health, and we’ve been working hard to bring this product to market and to offer real protection against big vet bills.

“It’s easy to sign up, simple to claim, and quite frankly answers the calls of thousands of animal lovers across the country. We can’t wait to get the UAE’s pets covered.”

So how do you sign up?

You need to visit yallacompare where you can select from three packages that offer varying levels of cover; bronze, silver and gold and pay.

There is no need to offer upload any documents and the policy can be paid on a monthly basis.

Now that’s news to make any pup smile in Abu Dhabi.
