Learning Spaces Nursery is a Reggio Emilia Inspired British Nursery located in Khalifa City A. The Educational Institution partners with children, families and the community to provide an inquiry-based Education for children up to 4 years of age.
The Nursery follows the Reggio Emilia Approach, a critically acclaimed philosophy that has been adopted by many countries worldwide. Reggio educators believe in creating the right environment for all children and in building strong relationships with parents and the community. The Nursery follows the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and the principles set in the Curriculum are designed to celebrate the importance of learning trough play.

The practitioners have many years of experience working with young children and collaborate with parents to enhance all children’s individual learning and development.
Its facilities include open and spacious learning environments that are not common within most Early Years settings. To support children’s creativity they have a purpose built water play Area, an Atelier and mini Ateliers in each class with wonderful creative materials and tools to facilitate inquisitive confident explorers. In keeping with Reggio Emilia Approach the Nursery has adopted community areas such as the Piazza and Dining Room where children, practitioners and families can come together and share experiences. The principle of the environment as the third teacher applies just as readily outside as inside at Learning Spaces, placing value on free flow play, aesthetics, organization, thoughtfulness, communication and interaction.
Learning Spaces is an innovative Nursery which allows children to develop their own ideas and thoughts in an environment that allows for freedom and exploration. The Nursery is designed with the safety and security of children in mind; from paediatric first aid training to sanitation and ensuring a clean and healthy environment for children. Their HAAD licensed nurse is available to check on the children daily and the School Doctor visits the nursery monthly offering staff trainings and consultations.
