Abu Dhabi residents are now being encouraged to get a fourth dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.
The advice issued by the Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre said those who are eligible should receive another booster of Pfizer-BioNTech or Sinopharm if they were issued their last shot more than six months ago.
However, if you are in a high-risk category; people who are more than 60 years old or have a chronic illness; you will be eligible to receive your fourth dose three months after your third.

Currently there are no plans for a fifth dose for residents who have received two doses of Sinopharm and two Pfizer-BioNTech jabs according to local media sources.
It’s the latest in announcements for Abu Dhabi residents in relation to the Pfizer vaccine.
Authorities announced that children over five years can now have the vaccine on 2 February and on the 17 January, it became mandatory for residents to receive a booster dose in order to maintain a green status on their Al Hosn app.
