Abu Dhabi to remove 14-day COVID quarantine for UAE residents

Applies only to those who have been vaccinated for Covid-19 as part of the National Vaccination Programme.

Those who have been vaccinated for Covid-19 as part of the National Vaccination Programme will no longer need to face 14-days quarantine in Abu Dhabi when returning from overseas.

The new guidelines, released by Abu Dhabi’s Crisis, Emergencies and Disasters Committee, also indicate that those vaccinated will no longer need to have a PCR and DPI tests when entering Abu Dhabi’s borders from within the UAE.

For those vaccinated in either the third trial phase or as part of the vaccination programme, other benefits include – no longer needing a PCR or DPI test to enter Abu Dhabi by land.

PCR tests will still need to be taken by travelers on arrival from overseas. Those vaccinated as part of the National Vaccination Programme will need to take further tests on the 4th and 8th day after arrival.
