Celebrate Yoga with Bodytree Studio

Throughout November, Bodytree Studios are celebrating yoga with their new “Freedom Package”: Yoga at just AED65 per class in both the main Bodytree Studio and at Saadiyat Beach Club.

There are over ten different types of yoga classes to choose from to suit all levels of ability, with beginner to advanced level classes and, ladies only and mixed classes too.

What type of yoga to choose… 

The teachers at Bodytree Studios have a personalised approach to yoga, focusing on individual wellbeing and relaxation of the body, mind, and soul. All of the highly trained and caring teachers foster Sangha (community), as well as compassionate enquiry of the student’s own path.

Ashtanga: Involves synchronizing the breath with a progressive set series of postures – a process producing intense internal heat and a profuse, purifying sweat that detoxifies muscles and organs. The result is improved circulation, a light and strong body, and a calm mind.

Beginner Yoga: Builds your foundations to join any style of yoga.

Gentle Yoga: A mindful, soothing class with emphasis on being present in your body, breath and mind.

Hatha Flow: Hatha yoga refers to the more traditional asanas (postures), designed to open the channels of the body allowing energy to flow freely. Hatha Flow is a more dynamic version – the transitions between asanas are fluid.

Kids Yoga: Interactive and great fun! These yoga sessions teach kids the basics of yoga, aid better body awareness, self-control, flexibility and coordination. Yoga can help kids carry these skills beyond class into their daily routines. Imagery and music are used as motivational tools.

Mummy and Baby Yoga: Strengthens the spiritual, emotional and physical bond between parent and child. Using interactive, slow-moving postures the class is ideal for newborn to crawling age.

Vinyasa Flow: Dynamic and creatively sequenced, vinyasa yoga brings together gracefully fluid movements along with challenging postures and transitions. Expect to breathe, build strength, flexibility, balance, invert, play, focus, release and be more present.

Power Vinyasa: An intermediate to advance level vinyasa-based practice that trains the mind and body to communicate in the most efficient way possible through visualization, breath and internal awareness.

Pre Natal Yoga: Designed to reduce the aches and pains during and after pregnancy in a nurturing and supportive environment. The focus is on special breathing techniques, opening of the hips and preparing the body for birth.

Stretch n’ Snooze  / Yin Yoga:  Long held, static stresses of the deep connective tissues allowing them to be remodeled. These yoga classes target the connective tissues, such as the ligaments, bones and joints of the body that normally are not exercised.
