Malls, cinemas, gyms, restaurants, hotels capacity limits revised

New rules in place for the Eid holidays.

Monday 19 July will see shopping malls in Abu Dhabi operate at 40 per cent of total capacity.

This comes as the Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee makes a series of announcements ahead of the Eid break.

Cinemas across the emirate will run at 30 per cent capacity. Meanwhile, public beaches, public parks, private beaches and swimming pools, restaurants, cafes, gyms and spas in hotels, buses and public ferries will operate at 50 per cent capacity.

A maximum of three passengers will be permitted to travel in a five-passenger taxi and four passengers in a seven-passenger taxi.

The committee also called on the public to adhere to preventive measures, maintain physical distancing, and wear masks in public places.
