Here are the official UAE public holidays for 2020-2021

The dates are confirmed by the UAE government.

We’re heading to the end of 2020 with 2021 almost here. And in a timely manner, the UAE Cabinet has confirmed the national holidays for 2021.

So, take a look and let’s start planning.

1 January New Year’s Day, Note that it is Friday so unless you work Fridays, you will not get a day off.

Eid Al Fitr, which is expected to be 12 May,  but moon sightings will confirm this nearer the time.

Arafah Day is expected to be 18 July

Eid Al Adha is expected to fall on 19 July

Hijri New Year or Islamic New Year is expected to fall on 10 August

Prophet Mohammed’s (PBUH) birthday 21 October

Commemoration Day 1 December

National Day 2-3 December
