Abu Dhabi private beaches, swimming pools are now operating at 60 per cent

Restrictions have been eased to allow a greater size capacity, which is great news.

Okay!  Grab your beach towel and head to the pools and beaches as more people are now allowed on the beach and in pools.

Capacity is still not set at 100 per cent just yet, so do always check with the venue before setting off as these places fill fast.

A circular issued by the Department of Culture & Tourism – Abu Dhabi   (DCT- Abu Dhabi) states that private beaches and swimming pools can now operate at 60 per cent capacity.

Beaches and pools were previously at 50 percent.

Another circular outlined that business events are allowed to welcome 50 per cent of their maximum total of visitors and events are set at 30 per cent.

Staff will also need to complete a COVID-19 test on a weekly basis.
Tourism outlets, hotels and events will be inspected regularly to verify compliance, according to DCT Abu Dhabi.

Team Yalla recently reported that cinemas could reopen at 30 per cent capacity and that a number of schools had once again closed their doors in Abu Dhabi and another had restricted some classes due to COVID-19.
