Turning Challenges into Opportunities

Our next Rising Star is 18-year-old Arissa, who is the Head Girl at the British School Al Khubairat. Arissa has just finished her A Levels and has received a provisional offer to study law at Cambridge University in September. But 18-year-old Arissa was determined to make the most of her new-found home and turn what others may see as a challenge into a wealth of opportunities. Fast-forward to today, and Arisa has finished her A-Levels, has a provisional offer to study law at Cambridge University, and is the Head Girl at the British School Al Khubairat.

“Challenge yourself and step outside of your comfort zone…”

I believe that you should alway challenge herself and step outside of your comfort zone whenever you have the opportunity to.”

“My advice for anyone in a similar situation is to get involved in as much as you possibly can at school. Doing that has enabled me to make new friends and I have had some fantastic experiences here.”
