High in protein and packed full of vitamins and anti-oxidants, the Spirulina Smoothie is a fantastic post-workout snack. Here’s the full recipe:
- 1 Cup of pear, thinly sliced
- 1/4 Cup of cashew nuts
- 1 Tsp of chia seeds
- 1 Tsp of flax
- 1/2 Tsp of spirulina powder
- 1/4 Cup of spinach leaves
- 1/2 Banana
- 1 Cup almond milk
What is Spirulina?
Spirulina is a natural “algae” (cyanbacteria) powder that has so many health-boosting qualities. Here’s why you should be included the super-food in your diet:
