For 11 nights, the buildings of Sharjah will be illuminated with kaleidoscopic projections and music as the Sharjah Light Festival returns for 2022.
Brightening up the evening from 9 to 20 February, the festival now into its second decade is expected to attract thousands of visitors for lightening displays in up to 20 locations including Al Noor Mosque and University City Hall.
Showcasing the emirate’s rich heritage and historical monuments, the designs on each projection are inspired by local culture, stories and traditions, using energy saving lighting technology.
Organised by the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, all projectors used have passed certification for environmental compliance.
