During the holy month of Ramadan, contemplation, turning inwards, mindfulness and spiritual immersion come to the forefront of everyday life for many. In this period we take time out to be with our loved ones, but do we take enough time to love ourselves?
Meditation allows for the purification of senses from external and internal physical, emotional and mental toxins. It enables self-reflection and release of emotional and mental disturbances leading to being more focused and peaceful. Meditation allows for clearing the mind and moving deeper into spirituality and prayers.
Mindfulness brings one’s focus to the present moment. It trains and controls the mind in order to have better focus, manage emotions and stress to and ultimately leads to transform one’s life to achieve both personal and professional goals. Today’s rushed lifestyle makes the practice necessary for both adults and children, in order to be able to cope with everyday challenges both mentally and emotionally.
