The “Korean Film Festival 2017” will be held from April 5th (Wed) to April 8th (Sat) 2017. The festival is organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, Korean Cultural Centre and the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea, and it aims to showcase the quality and diversity of Korean films. The festival will be held in Abu Dhabi at Yas Mall Vox Cinema.
Opening with ‘Train to Busan’, the first ‘zombie’ feature film in Korea directed by Yeon Sang-ho, a total of 8 feature films will be screened during the festival. Films selected for the festival are to present a variety of Korean films; in different genres from drama, action to documentary; movies which have drawn great public attention in addition to those that have been invited to the international film festivals.
Every film is subtitled with English. The schedule and details of the films can be found on the official website (www.k-filmfest.com). All tickets are free when reserved through the website, ID is needed upon collection. Reservation will be open on the website from March 20th. Prior reservation is a must.
