It’s time to get your skates on as the Emirates Roller Skates Half Marathon is rolling into town on Friday 10 December.
Taking place on Al Hudayriyat Island Cycle Track, kids and adults of Abu Dhabi can showcase their skating skills in three race categories; 3km (for eight to 11 years); 5km (for 12 to 14 years and 15 to 17 years); and 20km (for those 18 years and above).

Beginning at 3pm for those under 18 and at 4.30pm for ladies and men, you can get involved by registering online at Roller Skating Club Abu Dhabi.
But should you decide to stay on the sidelines, there is plenty more family-friendly action with entertainment from live music acts and DJs and of course, some tasty fare from host of food vans and pop-ups throughout the location.
