This winter, Al Ain region will see the creation of a special ‘outdoor village’ in the city, packed with entertainment, food and activities. The first-ever Dar Al Zain Festival will take place between 14th and 23rd of December. Hosting families and lovers of the outdoors, the Festival promises to be the go-to event spread over 10 days.

Children will have the lion’s share of fun at the Dar Al Zain Festival, though, as they will be able to enjoy a dedicated play area and to take part in the Festival’s activation. The Festival will feature a minimum of 20 curated shows, along other family-oriented activities, designed to attract family members of all ages.
Iftah Ya simsim – Simsim Outerspace
The Simsim gang discover outerspace and engage in a competition to see who knows the most about science! Learn more through your favourite Iftah Ya Simsim songs and dance led by a live host, Shams, No’man, Elmo and Kaaki.
Activation: including interactive games and science themed activities such as magnetic puzzle wall, giant keep active dice, invisible ink game, alphabet soup craft, plus number and alphabet activity sheets.
Looney Tunes – ‘Little Tweety Hood’
The classic tale of Little Red Riding Hood has been retold with our loveable characters from the Looney Tunes; Sylvester, Tweety and Granny. Join the adventure in Granny’s house and in the dark wood. As Tweety ventures into the woods will he meet the big bad wolf and will Sylvester finally catch Tweety? Come and watch the show to find out!
Tweety and Sylvester: Activities include making tweety cage, colouring, mask making.
My Little Pony
Come and meet the characters from Ponyville, you are sure to fall in love with them! My Little Pony is a 20-minute live, interactive, musical adventure starring TWILIGHT SPARKLE, RAINBOW DASH, PINKIE PIE, SPIKE & APPLEJACK. Help the ponies come together to celebrate Pinkie Pie’s birthday! The whole family will enjoy a series of songs and dance as they join this fun-filled adventure with the Ponies.
Ponyfication Station – Friendship bracelets, face painting of pony cutie marks, colouring, coloured hair braids (limited supply), pony bookmarks.
Spoon & Fork
Visitors will enjoy a culinary experience rich in flavour, with a dedicated F&B zone bringing together more than 30 operators in a unique setting to cater to all tastes. Kiosks and food trucks will offer fantastic food options to choose from, satisfying every palate.
Shopsters
The Festival village will be home to a flagship retail zone, which will host more than 45 exhibitors.
Fun & Games
A flagship Glow Theme Flower Gardens/Maze will be the main attraction throughout the Festival in a celebration of light and colour that will delight all Festival-goers. In addition, the fun area features Lego, HASBRO, Pirate Train, Soft Playground, Large Customised Colorbook and a Wishing stand. The tunnel with a glowing artwork about Al Ain History, Culture, Monuments and on the other side a Storyboard will be created during the 10 days along with the village visitors and supervised by professional artists to create a fascinating picture.
Roaming Characters
Every 20 minutes different characters form the IP shows will roam around the venue area to entertain all visitors. As well as magic shows, stunts with circus shows, acrobat shows.

Adult: AED 30 on weekends and AED 15 on weekdays
Kids: AED 15 for kids under 12 and free entry for those under 6
20% discount for a group of 5 or more
Cashless Payment
Visitors can enjoy the festival with a cashless payment card that can be purchased from the ticketing box office and load it with a specified amount of money ( by using cash or debit/credit cards). With the cashless Tappit card, you are able to use it all F&B and retail outlets during the event. The card can be loaded at the several ticketing box office and Tappit booths scattered throughout the event area. In addition, you can retrieve any remaining funds up until the last day of the event.
