The second round of the Cairo Sound Music Festival presents a 12-hour lineup that will include Egyptian superstar and judge for the new season of the popular TV contest ‘The Voice’ Mohamed Hamaki,and romantic soft-voiced Aida El Ayoubi who gained incredible popularity all over the Middle East in the early 90s.

Popular DJs Disco Misr, Khlaed Hussein and virtuoso oud player Mostafa Ghazal will entertain the public with their unique mixture of modern house music, retro mixes and traditional Arabic melodies for the second time. Thus festival remains a family event catering for the music preferences of all generations, alcohol-free and child-friendly. There will even be special fun zones for the youngest fans.

The Cairo Sound Music Festival was originally launched in January 2017 in Dubai with the purpose to  transfer the mysterious spirit of Egypt into the futuristic UAE. Popular Egyptian bands Cairokee, Sharmoofers and Massar Egbari gathered over 5,500 fans at Dubai Media City Amphitheater. The organiser of the festival, Hi Wave Events, received very positive feedback from the attendees and multiple requests to bring the festival back to the UAE. The second round of the festival will be hosted at prestigious innovative venue Du Arena on beautiful Yas Island. Egyptian craft zone will become a new cultural element of Cairo Sound Music Festival allowing attendees to purchase authentic accessories and souvenirs hand made by skilled Egyptian artisans.

The Cairo Sound Music Festival is meant to become a warm reunion of Middle-Eastern expatriates living all over the GCC region.
