Overlooking the date-palm gardens of Al Qattara Oasis, the Al Qattara Arts Centre will offer audiences extensive cultural and artistic programmes including the Comic Craze Exhibition, Emirati Playground Concept Exhibition and Al Qattara Cinema featuring the young Emirati film movement as well as narratives from the region between November 2017 and March 2018.

Linked with Al Qattara Fort, Souq Al Qattara features traditional marketplaces and workshops highlighting local Emirati trades. One of our most popular events anticipated annually, the Traditional Handicrafts Festival, will take place at the souq over a two-week period starting November 1st, 2017, and it will include shows by Al Kharareef Theatre among other performances. Weekends can also be enjoyed at the souq with events like Multaqa Al Ajyal, Traditional Markets, Traditional games, National Day celebrations, and World Heritage Day.
Additional events at sites around Al Ain region include a public open day at the Hilli 8 archaeological site in November 2017, and the official opening of the Mezyad Desert Park Trails in 2018.

For its 9th edition, Abu Dhabi Art will present Interventions in October, a series of on-site art installations, displaying contemporary works that interact with the surrounding historical architecture of Al Ain and its community.
