The former home of the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Al Ain Palace Museum celebrates Emirati hospitality and culture with My Heritage, My Responsibility, the seasonal outdoor programme highlighting different elements of the heritage of the UAE with workshops,
performances, and a traditional craft market; World Audio-Visual Heritage Day in October to celebrate Emirati heritage with talks, seminars and family workshops; and World Heritage Day in April. An ongoing community engagement programme will host Ramsa, a weekly community majlis event where the Emirati dialect and customs will be discussed by experts in Emirati heritage; and a Handicrafts Workshop, running several days a week throughout the year to teach the community Telli, Khoos, and Sadu, traditional Emirati handicrafts through hands-on workshops
