Events
- Zayed Sports City Stadium, 2 December – Official celebrations with a highly visual show honoring the life and achievements of the UAE’s Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
- Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival, 30 November to 2 December – A collection of immersive and interactive performances with the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development bringing the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan to life.
- Yas Island’s Big Drive, 2 Dec, 2pm-10pm – Friends and families can enjoy a celebration of urban fun and UAE culture at Yas Marina Circuit’s iconic North Grandstand. An exciting mix of motorsport drift shows, music, modern and classical art, activities and food and beverage outlets promises a fun day out for the whole family, with a ‘heritage village’ also offering Arabic calligraphy, local graffiti art, inflatable amusement rides and karting activities. In addition to dazzling fireworks finale at 9pm.
- Louvre Abu Dhabi, 1-2 December – A variety of heritage shows will be presented for museum visitors.
- Al Maryah Island waterfront promenade, 1 – 2 December, 4pm-10pm – An oasis of celebration, with live performances, fun activities for all the family, traditional food options and its own fireworks extravaganza.
- Municipality Park, 28 November – 5 December – Ayyala, Saudi and Indian folklore bands will perform on stage, with 40 heritage kiosks and 10 food trucks also on site.
- Hili Fun City, Al Ain, 1 & 2 December – A series of artistic and innovative performances, in line with the ‘Year of Zayed’, international and local shows including the world premiere of the ‘Open Sesame’ show.
Fireworks Display, 2 December
- Abu Dhabi Corniche, 9pm – Spectators will also be able to witness a spectacular show which will draw ‘UAE 47’ over the water and across Abu Dhabi’s skyline.
- Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival in Al Wathba, 9pm

- Madinat Zayed in the Al Dhafra region, 9pm
