The Abu Dhabi airline achieves the impossible and conducts mid-air orchestra stunt
Etihad Airways proved that the sky really is the limit as they performed an out-of-this-world stunt to celebrate the recent release of Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, a movie which was partly filmed in Abu Dhabi.
Unfortunately, Tom Cruise wasn’t available for the take, so Etihad instead searched for talented musicians who also liked to sky dive to pull off this almost ‘mission-impossible’ stunt high in the skies.

To pull it off, Etihad put together a skydiving orchestra, who could play the iconic Mission: Impossible theme song while falling 13,000 feet at 120 mph through the air.
The stunning spectacle recently took place after weeks of preparation and each skydiver was given their part of music to practice, learn, play and then execute while also navigating the harsh and testing conditions of the Abu Dhabi skies.
This spectacular exhibition once again proves that Etihad Airways is an airline that continues to push the boundaries and makes it their mission (possible) to deliver first-class experiences to their guests.
