Discover an ocean of learning with The National Aquarium Abu Dhabi’s summer kids’ camp

The camp will run until 26 August.

The summer holidays are in full swing and to keep your little ones occupied until the start of the school term, The National Aquarium Abu Dhabi (TNA) is welcoming any budding Jacques Cousteaus to enjoy a super summer camp.

The first summer camp to be held by the Middle East’s largest aquarium, kids aged five to 13-years-old will go underneath the sea and enjoy a programme full of fun, physical, engaging and brain-enriching activities.

Running every weekday until 26 August, the edutainment programme will offer kids a chance to observe tiny creatures under professional microscopes, how to sort trash into recyclables and non-recyclables and learn how to grow their own beans.

The Al Qana-based attraction will also see campers meet and greet the aquarium’s residents, discover how to detect rubbish in a sea turtle’s stomach and receive an Animal Training 101 from the qualified animal trainers.

And if that isn’t enough to tempt your little ones away from the PlayStation this summer, then the chance to win some cool prizes from scavenger hunt competitions and learning how to fold their favourite animal in Origami surely will.

Now running from 9am to 2pm every weekday until 26 August, the daily rate is AED 199 per camper with the weekly rate AED 795. But should you have a couple of interested marine explorers in the family, TNA offers a 10 per cent siblings discount.
