NYUAD Art Gallery invites you to reunite with artist Diana Al-Hadid

This event takes you to New York’s Brooklyn district where the artist reflects on her NYUAD exhibition.

Following the launch of its eighth digital archive in the TRACE: Archives and Reunions series, The NYUAD Art Gallery invites you to a special reunion with artist Diana Al-Hadid and Executive Director of The NYUAD Art Gallery and the University’s Chief Curator Maya Allison.

In this special Trace event, you’ll get to take a virtual visit to Al-Hadid’s Brooklyn studio, as she reflects on her solo exhibition at The NYUAD Art Gallery and discusses the impact of COVID-19 on her creative process and career. Tracing: Diana Al-Hadid: Phantom Limb starts at 6.30pm GST on Tuesday, 22 September via Zoom and via The NYUAD Art Gallery’s Facebook Page Livestream.

TRACE: Archives and Reunions is a series of 10 virtual events and archive releases that enable viewers to explore The NYUAD Art Gallery’s past exhibitions every two weeks over the course of the summer and into the fall.
