The eighth edition of Abu Dhabi’s iconic Mother of the Nation (MOTN) festival is returning with a cosmic twist – and it’s about to get more exciting!
MOTN is ready to transport visitors to another world as the festival opens its doors in Al Ain Square and a stunning new waterfront location, Al Mugheirah Bay in Al Dhafra.
From 28 November – 2 December, families can immerse in five unforgettable days of ‘Out of This World’ experiences, celebrating the collision of joy, wonder and extraordinary moments.
This year the festival will immerse visitors in a vibrant, larger-than-life universe where every corner will be filled with exhilarating carnival rides, family-friendly activities, iconic space-inspired scenes providing the perfect backdrop for your photographs, and irresistible F&B options that will keep festival-goers coming back for more.
Rife with family fun, live entertainment, the best food and more, it’s bigger and better than ever, of course.
The festival will be running across Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and the Al Dhafra regions from 13 November to 31 December 2024 as of now, but of course, one can keep an eye out for potential extensions.
This year’s starry line-up is full of legends, including the likes of Nancy Ajram, Ahmed Saad and so many more to set the mood.
You can catch the Mother of the Nation festivities at Al Dhafra from 13-17 November, in Al Ain from 28 November until 2 December, and in Abu Dhabi from 6-31 December.
If last year is anything to go by, visitors can expect the ultimate family day out full of performances, odes to the capital’s heritage, food & drink and so much more! The last edition also saw that the little ones hadn’t been forgotten, with everyone from the Spacetoon Orchestra to classic favourites like Sonic the Hedgehog and Barbie on the cars.
The weather might be getting cooler, but the event calendar’s heating up!
