International judo event to run 24-26 October
Following the successful staging of the Abu Dhabi Jiu-Jitsu World Tour 2022-2023, the UAE capital is now gearing up to host another major international martial art event this year.
Abu Dhabi is ready to host the world’s elite judo athletes for the new Abu Dhabi Grand Slam 2023, which will run from 24-26 October, according to a senior sports official.
The UAE capital has been an ardent supporter of martial arts events, regularly holding both national and international competitions, including the recent Jiu-Jitsu President’s Cup, which offered a total prize fund of AED 1 million.
