DATE & TIME
Travis Scott at Wireless

The festival’s Middle East debut will be a rager if there ever was one, and Travis Scott is just the beginning of a fire line-up!

And while the wait for this headliner reveal was hard, the reveal is giving ‘Goosebumps’.

Ready to set Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island on fire is none other than acclaimed American rapper Travis Scott! While the Grammy’s and his own docu-special on Netflix are a few of his wins, his biggest one might just be scoring a spot on former US President Obama’s playlist.

Wireless Festival, Europe’s biggest celebration of urban music and pop culture, is coming to the Middle East for the very first time. The 2023 inaugural edition on 11 March 2023 will be held on Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island and promises to be the event of the year, with multiple stages, 13+ live performances, F&B, and winning activations.

Having set the precedent for online performances with his Fortnite event ASTRONOMICAL, breaking records, making history, and drawing an audience of tens of millions; the capital’s definitely in for a sick time.

LIL UZI VERT at Wireless

Before Scott’s fire raps, there’s another legendary American rapper coming to burn the stage a lil. Revered in the rap game and instantly recognisable for his facial tattoos, piercings, and eccentric hairstyles, it’s the OG Lil Uzi Vert. He broke out on the scene with his debut ‘Money Longer’ and has since built a huge following based on his melodic emo approach to trap.

Black Sherif at Wireless

Adding a bit of regional flair to the event, a host of the biggest rappers in South Asia and the Middle East have also been confirmed to join Wireless Festival. One of the most established Egyptian trap artists of his generation, Wegz has grown like no other with performances like the official FIFA World Cup 2022  song Ezz El Arab (Arab Glory) to his credit.

You’ll also be able to catch Ghanaian singer and rapper, Black Sherif, performing some of his hits like ‘First Sermon’, to pump up the crowd. Bringing Iraqi-Canadian vibes is Ali Gatie on the main stage, bringing with him his unique style of music influenced by Ed Sheeran, J. Cole, and Frank Ocean.

YOUNG STUNNERS at Wireless

And rounding off the cream of the hop at the moment are the Indian singer and rapper King, Divine, and the Pakistani Hip-Hop duo Young Stunners! Talk about catering to the diversity of the emirate and how.

While you’re probably already rushing to get your hands on tickets, keep your eyes and ears peeled for more announcements soon.
