Superfans can choose from the 3km, 5km and 10km Family Run while little ones can join a special 200m Kids Run
Superman fans, are you ready to unleash your inner superhero?
Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi is setting up the stage for ‘superfans’ to test their running abilities and even get a chance to run alongside the ‘Last Son of Krypton’ with the first-ever ‘Superman Run’ on 19 March, from 6am to 12pm.
And you don’t have to be faster than a speeding bullet like the Man of Steel himself to fully enjoy the fun-filled running event. Serious runners and kids alike are all invited to the family-friendly run that will take participants around the perimeters of Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi on Yas Island.
Organised in line with the launch of ‘Superman Season’, the run offers participants three routes: 3km, 5km and 10km Family Run.
There is even a 200m complimentary Kids Run for the little ones, where the amazing Bugs Bunny in his Superman costume will run alongside and cheer on participants in a race from Metropolis and ending in Gotham City.

The fastest superfans will be rewarded with Super Hero-embroidered medals during the awards ceremony inside the Warner Bros. Plaza, with the Man of Steel and Supergirl joining the winners on the podium.
If running isn’t for you, there’s actually a full heroic experience for visitors not joining the race. In fact, visitors can head down to the park donning their favourite Superman capes and engage in various activities held in Metropolis, including a creative Superman and Supergirl mosaic and live demonstration of a Scribble Art artist.
And be sure to end your day with an indulgent treat with Superman-shaped cake pops and cookies from Ace O’ Clubs.
Participants can collect their race packs on 17 March, from 10am to 5pm, at the golf multi-sport tents stationed outside the entrance of the park.
