You can’t miss the Sharjah Light Festival no matter watt!

DATE & TIME

The 12th Sharjah Light Festival is lighting up the entire emirate, pushing the boundaries like never before.

From all the grand mosques to forts, the corniche and more, all of Sharjah is brilliantly lit up!

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, the 12th Sharjah Light Festival, organised by the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA) is on from 8-18 February.

Covering 13 locations, you can spot the spectacular displays from 6pm to 11pm during weekdays and from 6pm to 12am on weekends.

The opening ceremony kicked off with a bang, featuring a dazzling light show titled Chasing the Light that spoke of finding that flicker of light in the shadows, the silver lining and the efforts we take to keep the flame of curiosity high.

This year’s edition brings a new format, highlighting the emirate’s unique urban and architectural character, as well as its cultural identity which acts as a beacon for tourists. The mesmerising light shows and art displays will adorn buildings and destinations all across, with seven international artists taking part alongside a group of emerging creative artists.
