Their name means both “heartbeat” and “children of the drum,” reflecting their primal, childlike passion for rhythm.
Featuring massive 3-tonne taiko drums, Kodo’s performances transcend cultural boundaries.
They also host the annual Earth Celebration on Japan’s Sado Island, uniting global art lovers.
