Comic Craze Vol 3 returns to Abu Dhabi

Running until 31 August, it’s the perfect excuse to indulge the child in you!

Who remembers growing up on dubbed Japanese anime?

If you’ve lived anywhere in the Gulf, you definitely do! And it’s time to celebrate the nostalgia of the same, or simply a passion for cartoons with this fun new exhibition at Abu Dhabi Cultural Foundation.

Head to Comic Craze Vol 3., running from 3 May to 31 August. Catch some amazing work from 49 stellar artists from the UAE and indulge the little kid within you. Did we mention it’s free entry?

The exhibition highlights the ingenuity of creating satirical, comic and critical cartoons. These talented individuals use their art to observe and comment on the contradictions of human and social behaviour and the intricacies of modern life.

Of course, it’s an immediate trip to childhood memories as you’ll spot several characters from Japanese anime cartoons, dubbed into Arabic and viewed by many generations in the Arab world.

Grab the kids or your friends, and head on to the exhibition for an evening of pure fun and joy!
