Comet in UAE 2023

From 1-5 February, the comet will be closest to the Earth.

Did you see the comet in the Abu Dhabi sky this weekend?

Worry not if you didn’t because you still get a chance to see the sky light up.

A once-in-a-lifetime comet was seen in the Abu Dhabi skies this weekend. The International Astronomy Centre (IAC) shared details of the faxed star which was spotted early Saturday morning.

The comet was seen passing by the Earth for the first time in 50,000 years – making it a rare sight. This means that you also get only one chance in your lifetime to look at it.

But if you missed it this weekend, there’s another chance for you to experience this celestial beauty.

The comet is going to be closest to the Earth on 1 February – and you can still see it till 5 February.

While it might not be visible to the naked eye, you can definitely see it through a pair of binoculars. So make sure to get yourself some eye-gear as you witness this once-in-a-lifetime sight.
