The UAE National Day celebrations are starting a little early in this part of Abu Dhabi, culminating in a fireworks display on 2 December.

The five-star hotel on Abu Dhabi Corniche will host a pyrotechnics and light show on the beachfront from 9pm, which will be visible to both guests and the public. Of course, you wouldn’t want to miss the National Day Air Show, which can be viewed from the palace gardens, which will host a family picnic-style set-up from 3pm to 6pm.

Additionally, Michelin-starred Italian restaurant Talea by Antonio Guida is bringing guests a five-course menu, while Indian venue Martabaan’s five-course menu is sure to impress (and be a little more wallet-friendly too!).

Al Maryah Island

2 and 3 December, 9pm

It isn’t really UAE National Day vibes without all of Abu Dhabi lighting up!

The recent addition to the sparkling list is Al Maryah Island, lighting the sky up at The Waterfront Promenade. On 2 & 3 December, this year’s show will not stop at fireworks alone, and you can enjoy water shows as well. They’re also setting out Instagram reminders, not that we’d need any.
