Celebrate the 52nd Union Day with a gorgeous (and free!) Candlelight Concert at this iconic spot
The entire country’s come alive to celebrate the Union Day, especially after the government announced a long weekend for all!
In typical UAE fashion, it wouldn’t be a celebration with some stunning fireworks you can’t miss out on. In addition to that, there are several concerts and F&B deals to check out from 2-4 December to make the most of the Union Day celebrations.
For those looking for something absolutely mesmerising, however, this one’s an extra special concert.
For the first time ever, the majestic Founder’s Memorial in Abu Dhabi will resonate with the fusion of classical and Arab music at a Candlelight Concert in honour of the Union Day.
And it’s free too!
This special event, organised in partnership with the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center will take place on 2 and 3 December for an evening of musical harmony, cultural richness, and celebration.
With two sessions scheduled at 7pm and 9pm on both days, up to 400 guests can immerse in the harmonious blend of Arab and classical music, masterfully performed by the renowned pianist Aldo Dotto and the Fusion Al Arab group.
The program will feature an exquisite selection of Arab music, including ‘Allah ya dar Zayed’, ‘Al Ghizlani’ and ‘Ensan Aktar’ among others.
