Time to pedal for a good cause.
Supporting the global fight against cancer, Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi has partnered Friends of Cancer Patients for the third edition of Ride With Rixos. The community-driven cycling event is back after several popular editions, and we can’t wait!
Scheduled to take place on 4 February 2024, from 6.45am to 9am, the event promises a substantial impact, giving participants the chance to avail themselves of health consultations offered by the Friends of Cancer Patients Mobile Screening Van.
More importantly, a cancer survivor from FOCP will also share their personal journey during the event, shedding light on the motivations that propelled them towards recovery.

This collaborative endeavor seeks to unite the community in a shared commitment to physical wellness and supporting cancer survivors.
To keep you from being two-tyred, Yalla Kombucha, a natural draft soda infused with tea, herbs, dried berries, and fruits, will be on hand to enhance the experience.
All you need to do is bring your own bike and helmet and complete the registration by Thursday, 1 February to secure a spot for this exciting event.

Event program flow
- 45am – Meeting point at the Hotel entrance with Welcome Drinks (juice, coffee, water, small bites)
- 55am – Opening speech and the event brief
- 7am – Special speech for an honorable cancer survivor and a representative of Friends of Cancer Patients
- 05am – Warm-up with Exclusive Fitness Club
- 15am – Start of the ride (20-kilometer route)
- 15am – Back to the meeting point at the hotel entrance for refreshments and refuel
