It’s time to get your fitness programme drawn up and those legs pumping because the location and date of the Ras Al Khaimah Half Marathon has been announced.
Taking place on the stunning Al Marjan Island, the starting gun on the world’s fastest half marathon will sound on Saturday 18 February 2023.
The 16th edition of the event will once again draw some of the best long-distance athletes in the world as well as running enthusiasts and amateurs.
Registration for the race is now open online at The RAK Half Marathon and if you book your place by the end of May, you will receive a 30 per cent discount.
Speaking on the announcement Iyad Rasbey, Executive Director, Destination Tourism Development & MICE at Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, said; “We are thrilled to announce the 16th edition of the world’s fastest half marathon to our nature emirate.
“The Ras Al Khaimah Half Marathon has gone from strength to strength with each passing year and I am confident that the 2023 edition of the race will be no different.
“The standard of high-level performances along with the number of records broken that we witnessed in February truly demonstrates how popular the Ras Al Khaimah Half Marathon is, attracting some of the world’s best elite runners and participants from across the world as well as the local community.”
