World’s Ski Capital, situated in the French Alps, is delighted to present a ‘Courchevel Culinary Journey by two Michelin starred Chef Stéphane Buron.
This gourmet experience will be hosted as part of the hotels highly popular Shangri-La Culinary Master Series, on 15 and 16 November, 2023 from 6.30 pm to 11 pm at Bord Eau, award-wining French restaurant.
Bringing to Abu Dhabi, the culinary flavours from the heart of the alpine mountains of France, Chef Stéphane Buron will take guests on a gastronomical journey with a carefully curated five course menu paired with the finest grape.

Highlights from the menu include ‘Crispy langoustine tartlet, Kristal caviar, Stracciatella with grated dried caviar; ‘ Scallop carpaccio with citrus, floral accents and sudachi sorbet’ and ‘Roasted lobster with salted butter, tender orange-infused carrots, vanilla carrot mousseline in a rich sauce.’
For Stéphane Buron, simplicity is the art of perfection. Driven by this desire for simplicity, he works to showcase the very essence of each ingredient, revealing and intensifying original flavours with his subtle recipes.
For more than 30 years, Stéphane Buron has put all his passion into the kitchens of Le Chabichou, the two Michelin starred gourmet restaurant, located in Courchevel, France. This native of Nancy has a resume as enticing as the hundreds of dishes he is sending to the dining room every day.
The Culinary Master Series was introduced by Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi for its novel gastro concepts in 2022 and has been praised by diners. This initiative aims to combine exceptional taste and talent presented by a selection of award-winning master chefs, paired with world-renowned Shangri La hospitality.
