Kicking off the much-awaited marathon is a glorious display from the Al Fursan aerobatics team.
Some of the world’s best long-distance athletes will be running through the streets of the UAE capital very soon. Joining a record 20,000 participants, the 2022 ADNOC Abu Dhabi Marathon is all set for 17 December.
Opening the marathon in spectacular fashion is none other than the Al Fursan aerobatics team, back with visually thrilling aerial shows. The team will fly, tumble and twirl through the air, painting the sky with smoking trails of green, white, black and red above the ADNOC Abu Dhabi Marathon race circuit, offering the spectators yet another treat.

The fourth edition of the ADNOC Abu Dhabi Marathon includes the full 42.2km marathon, and the relay marathon in which two runners each cover 21.1 km, in addition to 10km, 5km and 2.5km races entitled ‘We Run Together’ and which are open to all.
Runners will start in front of the ADNOC Headquarters, and be treated to visuals of the most famous landmarks of the UAE capital along the way. That aside, there is also plenty of entertainment lined up for families, including Fitness First warm-ups, hourly shows and live music, as well as food trucks to keep the energy up!
