Looking for your next travel adventure, but not quite sure where to go? Air Arabia Abu Dhabi has just launched two new routes that connect Abu Dhabi International Airport to Baghdad International Airport and Erbil International Airport.

The new direct routes to two of Iraq’s most famous cities open new possibilities for both adventurers and business travellers alike. Air Arabia, which now serves 31 destinations from Abu Dhabi International Airport, said it will fly twice a week to both cities starting 22 June.

Adel Al Ali, Group CEO of Air Arabia, said the new flights are the airline’s first to both cities from the UAE capital. “This new route underpins our commitment towards both leisure and business travellers, while providing them with more travel experiences and value-added offerings across its network.”

With the new flight routes, the UAE capital continues to expand its global network of travel destinations, and it’s never been easier to jet off and explore a new adventure any time of year.

Abu Dhabi also recently welcomed direct links to Lisbon, with Etihad Airways flying to the Portuguese capital three times a week Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays from 2 July. Etihad also said it will resume flights to Málaga on the Spanish Costa del Sol and the popular Greek island of Mykonos this summer.

For those looking for budget options nearby, ultra-low airline Wizz Air has also recently opened daily flights to the Holy City of Madinah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
