It’s time to clench your fists because an exciting kickboxing event is making its way to the capital.
The UAM Fight Night K1 Pro Kickboxing Championship takes place on 11 February, marking UAE Muay Thai & Kickboxing Federation’s (UAEMTKF) first event this season.
The championship features an elite line-up of 28 participants from 18 countries bolstering the UAE’s global reputation as a preferred destination for kickboxing. Over the last decade, the capital has hosted some of the most prestigious international competitions in a wide range of sports.
UAE champion Ilyass Habibali – who holds a stellar record with 19 wins, five knockouts, and three defeats – will face Briton Michael “The Punisher” Wakeling in the lightweight showdown, headlining the UAM Fight Night K1 Pro Kickboxing Championship.
Apart from the main events, you can also watch your favourite athletes perform throughout the day’s action-packed bouts taking place at Etihad Arena.
