Junior riders stole the show at Yas Mall completing death-defying stunts in preparation for the championships
The countdown is almost over, and all teams and riders have now arrived in Abu Dhabi with the unique track build completed at Etihad Arena in preparation for the FIM Supercross World Championships on Saturday.
Riders from the senior grades came together with local UAE 65 and 85cc riders to experience the Yas Marina Formula 1 Circuit and Yas Island ‘Kartzone’ go-karting track, ahead of Saturday’s WSX Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, at Etihad Arena.
Current WSX World Champion, Ken Roczen was joined by Dean Wilson, Aaron Tanti, Phil Nicoletti and Maxime Desprey along with two-time world champion Chad Reed and FMX Star, Cam Sinclair.

The group went toe-to-toe with young local riders on the go-kart track in a fun filled morning showcasing the rider’s competitiveness as well as what Yas Island has to offer.
Ahead of the event, Yas Mall turned into a playground when FMX rider Alex Bucholtz pulled off a jaw dropping stunt in the shopping centre.
Guests can expect adrenaline-fueled excitement, epic pyrotechnics, and heart-stopping motorsport action for local, regional, and international fans.
As a truly world-class destination for racing and entertainment, fans can expect an unmissable experience on and off-track as the dirt battleground meets the Middle East’s majestic sand dunes for the first time!
