The FIBA 3×3 World Tour Abu Dhabi Masters bounces into the capital

Early bird tickets are on sale now.

Basketball fans will be bouncing around Abu Dhabi at the end of the month as some of the world’s greatest ballers will be in town to showcase their skills.

The FIBA 3×3 World Tour Abu Dhabi Masters returns to the capital and will see five of the planet’s top teams clash on 29 and 30 October at Kaser Al Amwaj, Abu Dhabi Corniche.

Featuring Olympic gold, silver and bronze medalists, teams will battle it out in front of supporters of the orange ball game in the capital over two pulse pounding days for the pride of their city and jersey as well as a prize pot for $150,000.

And you can catch all the action courtside.

Early bird tickets for the tournament are now on sale online at Platinum list where fans can get their hands on a one-day pass with a 20 per cent discount or a three-day pass with a 35 per cent discount. But you better be quick as this super deal on stubs runs out on Wednesday 20 October.

But top-class basketball plays on the court is not the only event to take place on the weekend. Running alongside the basketball action will be an urban culture festival with exclusive live entertainment for the whole family to enjoy including live music, basketball tricksters and dunkers.

Doors open at 1pm on Friday 29 October with the first throw taking place at 2pm. The action begins on Saturday October 30 at 3.30pm with the grand final scheduled in for a 8.35pm start time.

The event organised by FIBA is the 10th edition to be held in Abu Dhabi, returning after a five-year hiatus when the World Tour Finals for 2015 and 2016 were hosted in the capital.

But what there is more.

The Harlem Globetrotters are coming to Abu Dhabi on 31 October at the Etihad Arena.

A part of Yas Island’s ‘Yas for 50’ Golden Jubilee celebrations, the world-famous sports entertainers will also be showcasing their skills and box of tricks on the night with ticket prices starting from AED 50.

Those looking to attend must produce a green pass on their Al Hosn app as well as a negative PCR test result taken no more than 72 hours before the event.
