Candlelight Concerts has announced the opening of Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake & more to be performed at The Theatre, Mall of the Emirates. Starting from 6.30pm on 5 November, the show will run until 9pm.
The light of thousands of candles is expected to illuminate The Theatre and performance, allowing viewers to fully immerse themselves and discover the music of Swan Lake, The Nutcracker and The Sleeping Beauty. A lovely ballerina will mesmerise accompanied by a string quartet.

Since its launch in many decades ago, Tchaikovsky’s magical ballet has managed to enchant audiences across time. The story narrates the doomed love of Prince Siegfried and Princess Odette. Prince Siegfried goes out hunting one night and chases a group of swans – one of them transforms into a young woman, Odette, who explains that she and her companions were turned into swans by the evil Baron Von Rothbart.
Candlelight Concerts are a series of classical music concerts aimed at democratizing access to classical music by allowing people all over the world to enjoy live candlelit music performances by musicians in various stunning locations.
