The festive season is a merry time for many – which is exactly why Shakira turned things around this year and was seen in the UAE spending the festive season with her family.
The Colombian singer who has a massive fan following in the region took to social media to share that she was in the Middle East.
Sharing a photo of herself donning a scarf accompanied by her two sons, Shakira held the UAE’s national bird, the falcon, on her wrist.

She wrote: “In the desert this Christmas, searching for serenity.”
Reports claim that Shakira also attended La Perla Dubai, one the city’s biggest shows.
Later, photos of her at a Dubai restaurant were also shared by a verified Twitter account, Shakira Media.
From the pictures, it was evident that the singer visited a Latin American and Japanese restaurant named Sushi Samba, located on The Palm.
She also clicked photos with the restaurant staff.
