The Abu Dhabi native recorded another impressive win in the Grand Prix of Italy

Emirati driver Rashed Al Qemzi took another major step towards securing his fourth Powerboat F2 world drivers’ title with another great performance in Italy at the weekend.

The Abu Dhabi native recorded another impressive win in the Grand Prix of Italy which increases his lead in the 2023 UIM F2 World Championship and puts him in pole position to clinch another world title in the sport.

The young driver now sits 16 points ahead in the title race while his colleague and fellow countryman Team Abu Dhabi’s Mansoor Al Mansoori finished seventh after starting in eighth position.

Rashed Al Qemzi has been a rising star and a prodigious young talent for some years now and burst into the powerboat scene back in 2016. Since then he has claimed three world championship titles in 2017, 2019 and 2021.

The championship will reach its conclusion next month with two back-to-back races in Portugal where Al Qemis will be hoping to clinch a remarkable fourth world title and repeat his feat from 2021.
