Al Hosn rolls out new school regulations

New Al Hosn regulations for students

A set of vaccinations is mandatory for children in the UAE and these will soon be tracked on the upgraded AlHosn app

Children who have not uploaded the necessary up to date vaccinations through the Al Hosn app will be refused entry to schools moving forward in the UAE.

A new service that has been added to the Al Hosn app designed to safeguard children in the UAE has recently been announced. The app will be replacing the vaccination book which children show during the beginning of the school.

A set of vaccinations is mandatory for children in the UAE and these will soon be tracked on the upgraded AlHosn app.

The upgraded new app, which became synonymous with the Covid19 pandemic three years ago, now includes important vaccination records for children from birth until they turn 18.

Mandatory vaccinations are designed to protect children from diseases and help promote a healthier country. It is envisaged that the new service will play a vital role in helping achieve a higher percentage of child vaccination coverage in the country.

Originally the official UAE app for contact tracing and health testing related to Covid-19, AlHosn is now the national digital healthcare platform for vaccinations. The upgrade will play a pivotal role in achieving a higher percentage of child vaccination coverage nationwide.

Authorities are encouraging everyone to check the status of the children’s vaccinations and administer the required doses, especially those against common childhood diseases.
