UAE Pro League set to pay homage to stars
Voting has been cast for the winners of The UAE Pro League for 2022/23, with nominees hoping to hit the target and claim a coveted end of year award at the ceremony on 10 August.
The illustrious backdrop of Emirates Palace Madarin Oriental will stage the event which includes a number of different categories celebrating players who have exceled in the domestic football league this year.
Many of the UAE’s most accomplished players have been included where the Golden Ball Award for the best Emirati player will see competition between Al Wasl’s Ali Saleh, Al Jazira’s Ali Mabkhout and Shabab Al Ahli’s Yahya Al Ghassani.

Federico Cartabia (Shabab Al Ahli), Laba Kodjo (Al Ain), and Mohamed Firas Ben Larbi (Ajman) will fight it out for the Golden Ball handed to the best foreign player.
Meanwhile, the Fans’ Goal of the Year award will see competition between Laba Kodjo, Soufian Rahimi (Al Ain), and Fabio De Lima (Al Wasl).
There will be other awards handed out on the night including statistic-based awards, Golden Shoe for the ADNOC Pro League Top Scorer, the Silver Shoe for the U21 Pro League Top Scorer, Fantasy Manager of the Year, Fans League Award, the Golden Shoe for ADIB Cup Top Scorer, and the Dream Team Award.
